We are proud to bake all of our breads with organic, local stone milled flours, that will make you enjoy every bite, because you know they are filled with feel good nutrients to help your gut.
La Marraqueta
La Marraqueta is a traditional bread from Bolivia, in particular the cities of La Paz and El Alto. They are baked by bakers all over the city and delivered to the neighborhood corner stores every morning. As many locals do, we would visit our corner store every morning before breakfast and buy them fresh for the day!
What sets this bread apart is its crunchy crust and soft airy crumb interior. You can eat them for breakfast, with butter and jam, or cheese paired with a hot cup of coffee. They make the perfect sandwich bread for lunch and pair well with any dish you are planning for dinner.
Although a yeasted bread, our Marraquetas only have 5 simple ingredients, Organic Bread Flour, Water, Yeast, Salt and Sugar.

Naturally Leavened Breads - Sourdough
Our Sourdough breads that are naturally leavened with our very own Sourdough Starter (Regina). The slow fermentation process creates a bread with an amazing taste and structure! Natural leaven makes for a healthy and tasty bread that you can enjoy with a bowl of hot soup or toasted for breakfast. It is also perfect to make your favorite sandwich with.
There are various benefits to indulging in a slice of naturally leavened bread. One of them is digestibility. The natural bacteria in the leaven starts to break down the starches found in the flour grains before it even reaches your stomach. That means there is way less work to be done, making it much easier on your gut and more digestible.

Tuscan White Bread
This traditional Tuscan bread is originally made with just yeast, water, and flour. The bread does not contain any salt, because it is intended for dipping in thick, rich sauces.
We have altered the recipe slightly and added a small amount of salt so that the bread can stand on its own.
The soft and airy texture of the bread makes it the perfect candidate for a lunch sandwich, or as a side dish to your favorite pasta dish.

Sourdough Scones
Our sourdough scones are made using the discard (the portion of our starter that is left over after taking what is needed to refresh it) from our sourdough starter. The discard, in comparison to an active starter, is more sour and it adds a little tanginess to our scones, which is complimented by the sweetness of the sugar and fruits in the recipe. The flavor combination of our scones will vary from month to month based on the seasonality of fruits and flavors. We pride ourselves of baking with the freshest ingredients we can find.
INGREDIENTS: organic all purpose flour, organic (stone milled) all purpose flour, filtered water, yogurt, sugar, salt, baking powder, baking soda, vanilla extract.
Other ingredients based on scone flavor: seasonal fruits, chocolate, seeds and nuts, spices.

Butter Croissants, Pain Au Chocolat, Cruffins
Our Butter Croissants are made in small batches using nothing but high quality ingredients. The result is a beautiful golden, buttery, flaky and delicate bread that you will be able to enjoy plain or with your favorite topping.
